After compiling a patched 2.4.19 linux vanilla kernel and running openMosix userland-tools (0.2.4) I've decided to create this weblog.

mCii's motherboard don't recognize the newest AMD2000XP :'(
The newest BIOS don't support correctly XP processors, I'll change it for an AMD 1333@1420 Thunderbirth. Enjoy here!

Nov 10 2002 - The second node of my cluster is ready. It's metrakilate

metrakilate it's build as a diskless (DC) computer. It'll work? At this moment it's a ECS motherboard, 256MB DDR PC2100 Hunday, AMD1200Duron, Micronet Ethernet PCI, NvidiaTNT 32MB

Feb 10 2003 - openMosix patch source code (for kernel 2.4.20)

I've begun to understand the openMosix C and ASM source. It's a hard task due to the great amount of lines that openMosix team have wrote.

Mar 18 2003 - metrakilate it's a fully runing DC node

At least metrakilate runs perfect with RPL, DHCP, TFTP and NFS. Now it can boot from mCii without any problem and it can be joined to cluster easily. It's an important goal and I'll write the method for the open source community -nowadays there is a lack of doc about this-.

The spanish howto has been seriously enlarged thanks to Carlos Manzanedo & Jordi Polo documentation. Irbis has apported the instalation chapter. Thanks guys! ;)

3 days later my 22th birthday the previous to COMO1.0 version has been released. This will be the version that I'll show at the evaluation commitee.

My prof. of Computer Architecture 2 has requested me to show my cluster to students. I'll work to get ready slides and live show.

MaX has emailed me for to announce its intention for to translate the COMO to italian. They are 10 italian people on this task. A very intersting news.

I've made a meeting in the University of Lleida about my work on openMosix. The question&answer session has been a GNU/Linux verbose war! There are some people that never will understand the real world. Fuck them!

I've added mCi -a p233mmx computer- for to run mosmon in an old IBM monitor. I've bought a 10/100 switch and thrre cat.5 cables for to link the three computers. See you cross cable...
